Housing construction has been on a steady incline in the Dayton area over the past ten years. Residents are able to find homes in the $60,000 to $250,000+ range. In 2008, the average housing cost was $86,000. There are currently three Master Planned Subdivisions in Dayton, with 400 lots available for construction and three future planned developments projected within the next three to five years. These new residential developments will offer expansion with approximately 170 new home sites and cumulatively, approximately 570 lots available for residential expansion to Dayton residents and prospective residents.

There are currently three Apartment Complexes in the City of Dayton, offering amenities such as swimming pools, play grounds, fitness centers, laundry facilities and club houses. There are a total of 414 units and average monthly rent is between $600 and $800. |
