Director of Economic Development

Chris Jarmon began serving as the Director of Economic Development in August 2025. Prior to coming to Dayton, Chris served the cities of Groves, Beaumont, College Station and Liberty.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lamar University and a Master’s degree from Texas A&M University. He has also received the Professional Community and Economic Developer (PCED) certification through the Community Development Institute.
